Dear Modern Movers LLC,

This letter serves as formal notice of your breach of our contract dated 2026-04-10, and demand for payment of $2,800.

I hired Modern Movers LLC to relocate my belongings from my apartment to a new address. Despite paying the full quoted price of $1,800 upfront, the movers arrived 4 hours late, damaged several pieces of furniture, and lost two boxes of personal items. I subsequently obtained a repair estimate of $1,100 for the damaged furniture. The company has refused to respond to my emails and has blocked my phone number.

Please respond within 10 business days. Failure to respond will result in a small claims filing in Los Angeles.
